Containers

We offer 20’, 40’, and 45’ shipping container homes.  Our containers are typically “hi-tops”, which allow for greater insulation and taller interior ceiling heights.  Our 40’ and 45’ models are designed to be set on a variety of foundations, from a gravel bed to a basement foundation to a slab or concrete piers, or even a floating pontooned deck.  With rare exception and because of customer request, our models meet HUD title 6 manufactured home requirements which may qualify buyers for a variety of assistance.  Our 20’ and 40’ models can be set on the aforementioned foundations, or on a trailer, making it a true “tiny house on wheels”.  Our container homes are the most versatile shelter solution we know of, being able to be lived in comfortably in both frigid cold climates and warm tropical climates, on a basement on a midwestern farmstead or elevated on piers in the hurricane belt, or on a trailer as you travel while looking for your retirement ranch that then becomes a guest house once your new ranch house is completed… we know of no other solution that presents so many viable options for the occupant.

To make it a bit easier, we’ve come up with several standard interior floor plans that can be combined with several exterior appearance packages.

Tinys

We also build Tiny Homes.  Wood framed, traditional or modern in appearance, on both foundations and on wheels.  Like our Container Homes and Custom Homes, we offer both off-grid and grid-tied power systems.  If your Tiny Home is on wheels, we offer an additional hybrid option that includes propane, RV-style 50amp hookup, and RV-style blackwater holding tanks and pump out abilities.

Custom Homes:

We design and build traditional homes too, and have for years.  Maybe you’re found us because we are known for self-sufficiency and resiliency, and you want to build a not-so-tiny house that is passively survivable.  We can help!  From a new, 8500 sq. ft. ICF fortress that virtually heats and cools itself, complete with a fall-out room; to doing traditional additions to existing homes, we have decades of collective experience of creating enjoyable spaces that enhance their occupants lives.
