OPTIONS

In addition to the plans and models shown before that we can build, we also have several options that you may find appealing.

Storage Soffit above Foyer

This single feature adds 24 sq ft of long-storage (3’ X 8’), and a 12-drawer built in dresser that you have to see to believe.

Murphy Desk/Bed

Our Sensualist model is the perfect place for this Amish-built heirloom quality piece, as it doubles the functionality of the room with the best view in the house.

Custom Shower

If you would rather do a custom tiled shower, along with a glass door, we can do that.

Granite or Quartz Countertops

Stainless Steel Appliances

Our standard appliances are either white or black, but we love the look of stainless too.

Back up water tanks.

These pressure rated tanks are included in the pressurized system, water is exchanged from them whenever water is ran, and they are positioned to be able to gravity feed cold water to the Kitchen sink, or the bathroom sink and shower if needed.

Hurricane Rated Doors/Windows

If your home is going to the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), we can install windows and doors that meet the Miami-Dade and Broward County specifications, and are approved by the Florida Building Commission. Please note that these MUST be specified in the design phase, and cannot be easily added later.

Solar/Security Awnings

We also offer our hinged solar awnings that keep the blazing sun from entering windows and doors, but when folded down over the window or door, acts as a Hurricane Shutter and adds a valuable layer of security and protection to your home.

Trailer

Our Container and Tiny homes can be set, or built, on a trailer.  We prefer flatbed non-fendered trailers, even for our conventionally framed tiny homes, because it allows the option of removing the house from the trailer and setting it on a permanent foundation if desired at some point down the road. But if you insist on building your tiny on a “fendered” trailer, we can accommodate that as well.

Folding Deck/Porch Combo —  at the cargo doors

Just inside the cargo doors, we can move the sliding door wall back a few more inches and add an integrated fold down deck and fold up porch roof.

Fold down patio deck – on the long side of the container.

Fold down decks are seen more and more in the RV/Travel Trailer industry, and we’ve seen plenty in the Tiny Home industry as well.  They are typically controlled by cables and pulleys, and are integral to the design of the structure that they’re on.  Our’s are different.  Cables and pulleys wear out, so we use a proprietary solution that allow our decks to be folded up and down by one person.  In addition, our deck dimensions are slim enough to meet the 8’6” max vehicular width standard of all 50 states.  Finally, when folded up, our deck provides additional and extremely secure protection against nature’s fury and man’s folly.

Fold up porch roof

Similar to our fold down deck option, we have a unique fold up porch available as well.  This is particularly valuable in warmer climates where shading from the sun and cooling the air before it enters the home are time-tested solutions to reducing solar gain in the home.  It also provides wonderful outdoor shaded living space that you don’t have to pay to heat or cool.  Like our fold down deck, our fold up porch provides unparalleled security and protection against both nature and man.

Folding Deck/Porch Combo

Our patent-pending hinged roof & floor combination to create a covered porch on as many sides of your home as you choose, is like no other.  Operable by 1 person, our floor raises the roof and our roof raises the floor. We provide you with the necessary porch posts to lock everything together, and voila – you have a covered porch that increases outdoor living space; keeps sun, rain and snow at bay, and that when folded up – provides unparalleled security and protection against both nature and man.

If a fold-down deck, porch, or deck/porch combo are not a good fit for you at this time, please know that they can be added to your RSG home at any time in the future.

Solar Photo-Voltaic system

All of our homes are “solar ready”, meaning that all you have to do is add the components when your needs and/or budget allow.  If you’d rather us do that for you – we can do that too!  From calculating how much power you need to create, sizing the system and specifying the components, to installing the components and completing the system — we can deliver your RSG fully capable of generating all of its own power.
